2 (6 1/2 oz) cans minced clams
1 c.chopped onion
1 c. finely diced potatoes
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. flour
1 qt. half-half cream
1 1/2 t. salt
pepper and little sugar to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Drain juice from clams and pour over vegetables in med. saucepan. Add enough water to cover and simmer. Cover and cook till veggies are tender, about 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt butter, add flour and cook till thick. Add cream and stir till smooth and well blended. Slowly add to veggie mixture, add clams and heat thoroughly. Add a little salt and pepper and sugar to taste
