1 stick margarine (parkay)
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
3/4 c. molasses(Brand: Grandma's molasses)
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg, then molasses. Sift together dry ingredients and add to mixture. Batter will be stiff; add the cup of boiling water. Pour into greased and floured pan, 13x9x2. Bake about 20 - 25 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
