2 lb. codfish
5 lb. potatoes
1/4 c. chopped parsley
Sprig of thyme
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. chopped onion (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Soak fish overnight. Change water and cook fish and potatoes together. When cooked, mash together; add remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly. When cooled, make into balls or patties. Coat with flour. Fry balls or patties in hot oil, turning until golden brown all over.
