1 pkg. (2-layer size) chocolate cake mix
Chocolate glaze:
4 (1-oz.) squares semi-sweet chocolate
1/4 c. butter
Cream cheese mixture:
1 (8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. whipped topping, thawed
12 Oreo cookies, coarsely crushed

Preheat oven to 350º F. Prepare cake batter according to package directions and bake in two (9-inch) round pans as directed on the box. Cool cakes in pans, 10 minutes. Invert cakes onto wire racks; gently remove pans. Cool cakes completely.
Chocolate glaze: Microwave chocolate and butter in microwaveable bowl on HIGH, 2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Cool 5 minutes.
Cream cheese mixture: Beat cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended. Gently stir in whipped topping and crushed cookies. Stack cake layers on plate, spreading cream cheese mixture between layers. Spread top with chocolate glaze or icing; let stand until firm. Keep refrigerated.
