3 c. flour, 2 egg yolks and 2 eggs, 1 tbsp. sugar, 2 tbsp. oil or shortening, 1 tsp. anisette, honey, burnt almonds, olive oil or canola oil for frying.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour,eggs, sugar, oil and liquor. Work dough until hard, smooth and shiny. Let it stand for 2 hours before using. Roll into strips the diameter of a pencil and cut into tiny pieces. Fry in deep oil until light golden color. Drain. Place honey in pot with burnt almonds and cook over low flame until more liquid and bubbly and strings. Put in struffoli and stir constantly. Place struffoli on a platter and shape into a ring or heap into a mound. Decorate with colored sprinkles or candied orange peel.
