1 lb. flour, 1 c. boiling water, 1 large egg, 1 tsp. salt.

Directions:
Directions:
Make a well with the flour. Add water and mix with flour very fast so as to slightly cook the flour. Add egg and see that the egg does not cook with the hot water but they must be well mixed. Add salt and knead dough until shiny and does not stick to table. Let it rest for 10 min.

At the bottom of this recipe it says 1 potato. It is not clear if a boiled mashed potato should be added to the flour and water but I think that is probably the intent.
