Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 lbs ground turkey
1 onion
1 carrot
1 tsp ground sage
2 large eggs
1/2 c fresh bread crumbs
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 c vegetable oil
2 c firmly packed shredded cabbage
2 cloves minced garlic
2 c chicken broth
1 c pastina pasta
1/4 c minced fresh parsley

Directions:
Directions:
To make meatballs, in a large bowl, combine the turkey, onion, carrot, and sage. Stir in the eggs, bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Using your hands, form the meat into balls about 1 inch in diameter. You should have 16 to 20 meatballs. In a large, heavy pot, warm the oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs in batches and cook until brown on all sides, 6-7 minutes. Add the cabbage and garlic. Cover and cook over low heat for 5 minutes, or until cabbage is softened. Add broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer for 10 minutes to cook the meatballs. Increase heat to high and bring liquid back to a boil. Add the pastina and a pinch of salt. Stir well, reduce heat to medium and simmer, uncovered, for about 7 minutes or until the pastina is al dente. Just before serving, stir in parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.
