1 c. buttermilk
1 c. sour cream
3 beaten eggs
3 tsp. baking powder
4 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in a soft dough. Chill several hours or overnight. Roll on floured board 1/8 inch thick. Cut into 5-inch squares. Make two slits in each square and twist. Fry in deep fat until brown, turning with a fork to brown both sides. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with sugar.
