1 c. flour 2 tbsp. cocoa
¾ c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder 2 tbsp. butter, softened
¼ tsp. salt ½ c. milk

Topping:
1c. white sugar, 2 ½ tbsp. cocoa, 1 ¾ c. boiling water

Set oven to 250°

Mix dry ingredients. Add milk, butter, and vanilla. Put batter in 8 in. square pan. Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle on top of cake batter, pouring water on last.

Cook 50 minutes.

Gooey and chocolate! Super delicious plain or with ice cream. Also, easy to prepare. You may want to double this! I have cooked this a bit faster for 25 minutes at 350°.
