1 slightly beaten egg
1 cup ice water, cold milk or cold beer
1 cup flour
5 cups of veggies of your choice; onion rings, cauliflower, broccoli, pepper strips, green beans or asparagus cut into 2 inch strips
Cooking oil
Dipping sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together egg & milk in bowl. Add flour all at once & beat together till smooth. Rinse vegetables & pat dry. Heat 2 inches cooking oil in pan to 375 º. Dip veggies a few at a time in batter & fry till golden brown. Remove from oil and drop on paper towel. Keep warm in 300º oven.
