2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. salted butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift combined flour and sugar. Cream butter and vanilla and then slowly beat in sifted ingredients. If dough is still sticky, add a little more flour. Chill. Roll out the dough; dusting surfaces with cornstarch instead of flour keeps the cookies tender. Use cookie cutters to cut the shape you want and decorate unbaked cookies with colored sugars (or frost baked cookies with a favorite icing or melted white chocolate). Bake at 350º for around 8 minutes or till you see browning on edges.
