1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) softened butter
1 3/4 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups beaten eggs (6)
3 cups flour
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream slightly softened butter with sugar on medium speed for 10 minutes or till fluffy and light
Scrape sides of bowl regularly with spatula so butter is of uniform lightness
Alternately blend in beaten egg 1st, then 1/2 of flour, then remaining half off egg and half of flour
Blend only enough to obtain a smooth batter, add vanilla and transfer to greased bundt pan
Bake at. 325º for 1 hour and 15 minutes
Cool in pan for 10 minutes before unmoldind and removing from pan
