5lbs high gluton flour
3 tbs dry yeast or 2 oz fresh yeast
1/2 - 3/4 c. sugar
5 cups warm water
3 eggs
a little more than 1/2 c oil
2 tbs. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Pour yeast, sugar and 2C. water into bowl, wait 5-10 min. till foams.
Add 6 C flour and beat till forms paste, than add eggs, 1/ C of.oil, and salt, continue beating and add flour one at a time ,alternate with rest of water and knead for 10-12 min. Add the rest of the oil(approx. 2 Tbs of oil and continue kneading one more minute . Let rise in either bowl with wet towel or in a plastic bag for approx. 45 min -1 hr.
Take challa, braid and let rise for another 45 min. - 1 hr, brush with egg and bake at 350º for 1 hr.

You can sprinkle poppy seeds or sesame seeds and or
put little pieces of onions to give it even a better taste!
