2 c blueberries
1 T + 1 t rice vinegar
3 T ketchup
1 T brown sugar
2 t molasses
1/8 t allspice
1/8 t cayenne pepper
2 lb chicken
salt and pepper to taste
oil and vinegar or marinade, optional

Heat grill.

In medium saucepan, combine blueberries, vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, molasses, allspice, and cayenne pepper. Bring to boil over medium heat. Simmer, stirring occasionally, 15min or until sauce is thick.

Rub salt and pepper on chicken, optional oil/vinegar/marinade. Grill until cooked through.

Spoon sauce over chicken and enjoy.

The original recipe called this blueberry BBQ sauce, but there's really nothing BBQ about it. It also instructed to brush onto chicken while still on the grill, and I wouldn't recommend this as you'll lose an awful lot of the AWESOME sauce on the grill. Spoon over individual servings and you'll be much happier.

The chicken marinade is optional, of course, but adds a little flavor, keeps it moist, and helps it keep from sticking to the grill. I used a little of the veggie kabob marinade left over for just a quick brush before grilling and it worked wonderfully.
