1 large iceberg salad, shredded
1/4 cup fine-chopped green onions
1/4 cup celery, chopped
1 can water chestnuts, sliced (can be substituted with cauliflower)
1 pkg Frozen peas (not thawed)
2 cups top quality mayonnaise
1 tbsp sugar
3/4 lb bacon, crisp fried and crumbled
3-4 hard boiled eggs, sliced
3 tomatoes, sliced
Parmesan and Romano cheese, grated

Directions:
Directions:
Place lettuce in a large glass bowl, layer next 3 ingredients on top, then break peas apart and sprinkle on top (while frozen), spread mayo over top like frosting, sprinkle with sugar.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Before serving add layer of bacon bits, eggs and tomatoe slices, sprinkle cheese on top.

When serving, remember to go to the bottom of the bowl for each serving in order to get the effect of all the layers. Excellent with pork tenderloin, chicken or salmon.
