3 c. sugar
2 c. melted shortening (warm)
8 eggs
4 tsp. vanilla
8 c. flour
4 tsp. cream of tarter
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. combine shortening and sugar beat well. Add eggs and beat until fluffy. Add 2 c. flour and rest of dry ingredients mixing well. Add remaining flour and mix until blended. Roll out dough and using cookie cutters cut into desired shapes. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until done. Place on a wire rack to cool. Decorate as desired.
