3/4 c butter, softened
1 1/2 c sugar
2 eggs
4 bananas(really, really ripe)
1 tsp vanilla
2 c flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together until creamy.
Add eggs, bananas, and vanilla. Add the soda to the flour, and alternating buttermilk and flour/soda mix, add them to the banana/butter/sugar mixture.
Bake 325º 45 minutes or until done.

Really important that the bananas are ripe, and black...makes it more moist. You can add pecans but I find it dries out the bread. Maybe add to the top instead. Sometimes it takes longer than 45 minutes, just start watching after that and remove. I wrap in foil pretty quick after it cools to keep the moisture in. Saves great in freezer.
