1 1/2 c. flour
3 T. cocoa
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
5 T. oil
1 T. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients directly into greased 9x9-inch or 7x11-inch pan. Make 3 holes (the puddles) in dry mixture. Into one, pour the oil; into the next pour vinegar; into the 3rd pour the vanilla.
Now pour water over it all (the rain).
Beat with a spoon until it's nearly smooth and you can't see the flour. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes. Frost with your favorite frosting.
