Use your favorite pie crust
**recipe for a double crust pie
2 cans red tart cherries (drained)
1 can dark sweet cherries (drained) or 41/2 c. fresh or frozen cherries.
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together gently in large bowl
Pour into prepared pie crust
for the top I use a lattice top with the strips very close together.
you can also cover the top with a whole crust.
sprinkle sugar over the top
cover the edges & top with foil.
Bake at 425º 10 minutes, then drop the temp for 375º for 30 minutes.
remove foil for the last 15 minutes
when ou remove from oven, let set for several hours before serving so it sets up
We like to eat it with milk or ice cream!
