1 cup chopped onion
2 cups chopped celery
1/4 cup butter
5 cups cornbread crumbs
12 slices day-old white bread, cubed
1 Tbsp. ground sage
6 eggs
Salt and pepper to taste
4 to 4-1/2 cups chicken broth

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion and celery in butter until tender. In a large bowl add cornbread, white bread, sage, eggs, onion and celery, and salt and pepper. Pour broth over the mixture until it is no longer dry but holds when pressed together Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish and bake at 350º for 45 minutes.
