1 16 oz loaf pound cake (bought or make your own)
1 can frosting mix (divide in 3 parts and tint different pastel colors)

Directions:
Cut entire cake into 1 inch slices. Use deep cookie cutters or a knife to cut cake slices into diamond, round, or square shapes from each slice. Place cake pieces on a wire rack over wax paper.
Melt individual bowls of frosting in microwave till thin enough to spoon over cake pieces to completely cover. Add sprinkles, sugar, or a candy flower to decorate before icing hardens.

Canned frosting tinted and thinned in microwave can also be used to paint cookies with a pastry brush...decorate and let dry.
