1 cup flour
3/8 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup Crisco
2 to 3 Tbsp. water
1 qt. strawberries
3/4 cup water
1 cup sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. lemon juice
Whipped cream or Dream Whip

Directions:

Combine flour, baking powder, salt, Crisco and 2 to 3 Tbsp. water to make pie crust; pre-bake and cool. Place 1 cup of strawberries into a pan with 3/4 cup of water and cook 5 minutes. Mix 1 cup sugar and 3 Tbsp. cornstarch into the cooked strawberries and cook until thick and clear. Remove from fire and add 1 tsp. lemon juice. Cool slightly. Put the rest of the strawberries into the baked shell and pour the strawberry glaze over them. Serve with whipped cream or Dream Whip.
