2 cups rolled oats
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour
1 cup butter
Pinch of salt
Filling:
1 ½ cups dates
1 ½ cups water.
Directions:
Directions:
Mix first five ingredients together well. Spread half of the mixture on the bottom of a greased pan and save the remainder for the top.

Boil dates and water until softened. Spread on bottom layer and cover with remaining rolled oat mixture.

Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
