½ c. brown sugar
¼ tsp. nutmeg
¼ tsp. powdered ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. lemon juice
¾ c. gluten-free rolled oats
1/3 c. rice flour
pinch of salt
1/3-1/2 c. butter
2-4 lb apples

Directions:

Grease an 8x8 pan.

Peel, core and slice apples and cover the bottom of your dish at least an inch deep.

Combine the sugar and spices in a medium bowl, then fold half of that mixture in with your apples in the baking dish along with all of the lemon juice.

Mix the oats, flour, and salt with the remaining sugar-spice mixture in the bowl.
Cut the butter into the mixture.

Spread the topping overtop the apples.

Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
