½ cup water
1 cup Apple Cider vinegar
1 ½ cups sugar
10 medium sized cucumbers peeled
1 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon dry dill weed or 1 stalk fresh dill weed
1 teaspoon pickling spice
1 clove garlic (optional)
1- 2 teaspoons celery seeds (optional)
1 medium white onion (optional)
2-3 hot peppers if you like it spicy
2 or 3 quart jar

1. Cut cucumbers the long way and cut the seeds out. Thinly slice cucumbers and place in large bowl
2. Sprinkle salt over cucumbers and let sit for about 15 minutes. Drain excess water off
3. Put water, vinegar, and sugar in saucepan to boil
4. Peel and slice onions. Place onions, peppers, pickling spice, dill weed in bottom of jar
5. Pack cucumbers in jar. Pour vinegar mixture over cucumbers and seal tightly
6. Refrigerate when cool. Pickles will be ready to eat in 3-5 days. The older the pickles, the better they taste!
