2 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. coriander
1/2 1/4 tsp. salt
4 eggs, separated
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. pumpkin
3/4 c. margarine, melted
1 tbsp vanilla

Syrup:
3/4 c. butter
3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
3 tbsp light corn syrup
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add egg yolks, milk, pumpkin, margarine and vanilla. Stir until just moistened.

Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into batter.

Cook in waffle iron.

Syrup: Bring margarine, sugar, buttermilk and corn syrup to a boil in a large saucepan. remove from heat and immediately add baking soda and vanilla. Stir down bubbles. Set sit until slightly cooled.
