1 loaf French bread
8 oz cream cheese
12 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. maple syrup

Syrup:
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Tear bread into bite-sized pieces and cut softened cream cheese into small cubes. Put in greased 9x13" pan, spread out evenly. Beat eggs, milk and syrup together and pour over bread and cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake uncovered at 350 º for 40 minutes or until center is set. After baked, top with sliced strawberries. Pour syrup (below) over top

Syrup: Heat butter and sugar in microwave for 30 seconds on high. Add milk, baking soda and vanilla. Heat in microwave for an additional 60-90 seconds, or until heated through.
