10 c. All-Purpose Flour
6 1/4 c. Sugar
1 c. Cornstarch
5 T. Baking Powder
1 T. Salt
2 1/2 c. Vegetable Shortening
Directions:
Directions:
In large sifter, combine flour, sugar, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt. Sift in batches into another large bowl. Use a pastry blender or heavy duty mixer to blend in the shortening until mixture resembles cornmeal in texture. Store in airtight container. Makes 17 cups of mix. This mix can be used as you would a packaged cake mix.
