1/2 c. melted butter
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add buttermilk and soda. Stir in dry ingredients just until blended. Bake in sprayed 8 x 8 pan at 375º for about 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
