1 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. flour
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. buttermilk
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Spoon onto hot griddle. Cook till golden brown on both sides.

Caramel Syrup:
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 cube margarine (1/2 cup)
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Use large pan, syrup will boil up. Combine first 4 ingredients into pan, boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir and enjoy!
