1 & 1/2 lb beef
6 small onions
3 large carrots (chunks)
2 cups turnip (diced)
1 & 1/2 cup beef stock or canned bouillon
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp grated orange rind (optional)
1/4 cup flour
2 large potatoes (chunks)
3 cloves of garlic
3 cups water
1 can tomato sauce
1 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Remove all visible fat from beef, cut into 1 inch chunks. In a large casserole or Dutch oven, toss beef with flour. Add all of the remaining ingredients and stir to mix well. Bake covered in 325 degrees oven for 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaf before serving.
