8 slices whole wheat or white bread
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
2 c. shredded cheese
2 tbsp. onions
6 link sausages or 3/4 lb. regular sausage

Directions:
Directions:
Put 4 slices of bread on bottom of greased 9 x 13 pan---fry sausage and drain: mix everything else together and pour over bread and top with remaining bread and 1/2 c. of the cheese.
Bake for 1 hour at 350º

If desired add 1 can of cream of mushroom soup over the top to serve. (Optional)
