1/2 a lb of butter
1 3/4 c of sugar
5 eggs
2 c of sifted flour
1 tsp of vanilla
A pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 325 F. Prepare the loaf pan by greasing it. Cream the butter and sugar thoroughly. Add the eggs, one at a time. Beat the mixture well between each egg. Add the salt and then the flour gradually while beating. Add the vanilla. Pour mixture into prepared loaf pan and bake at 325 F for 55 minutes or until cake pulls away from the side of the pan. Enjoy!
