1 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cold water
1 egg white
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Put the sugar, water & unbeaten egg white into the upper part of double boiler and have the water in the lower part boiling. Commence beating the mixture at once & heat constantly while it cooks for about 10 minutes.Remove from stove. Add vanilla and beat until thickened. Spread on cake.
