1 pkg. yeast (dry)
1/4 c. lukewarm water
1 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
1/4. c. sugar
4 c. self-rising flour (sifted)
4 eggs

Directions:
Set out & grease 9 in. tube pan. Dissolve yeast in water. Heat milk until almost simmering; stir in butter until melted. Measure sugar into large mixing bowl. Stir in milk mixture until sugar dissolves. Cool to luke warm. Stir in 1 1/2 c. flour and beat until smooth. Beat in yeast & eggs. Stir in more flour and beat until batter is smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise in warm place until light and bubbly (about 1 hour). Stir batter down & put into greased bundt pan. Cover and let rise until doubled (about 30 minutes). Bake in preheated oven at 350º for 25-30 minutes. Remove from pan & cool on wire rack.
