3 c. sugar
1 c. oil
4 large eggs
1, 15 oz can pumpkin
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
2/3 c. water
1 - 1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Beat 1st 11 ingredients at low speed with an electric mixer 3 minutes or until blended. Add 2/3 c. water, beating until blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into 9 x 5 inch loaf pans.

Bake at 350º for 1 hour and 15 minutes for until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean., Cool in pan or wire racks 10 minutes. Remove from pans and cool completely on wire rack.

(I make 4 smaller loaves)
