1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tbsp. oil
1 (12 ounces) can whole kernel corn, drained
or fresh or frozen boiled and chopped
(I like it with chocli)

Sift flour, measure and resift, with next 3 ingredients. Beat eggs, milk and oil; then add flour mexture and beat until smooth. Fold in corn. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes, or in the refrigerator for a while) before frying in hot oil.
