Ingredients:  
10 oz. very thinly sliced onions,
1/2 salad or vegetable oil ( don't use olive oil),
2 lb. of coarsely cut sweet potato,
24 oz. cold water,
1 oz. sugar,
3/4 tsp. salt,
3/4 tsp. white pepper.

Directions:
Directions:
Fry onions in oil.
Add sweet potato and water.
When potato is done add sugar, salt and pepper.
Blend in blender.
Add 1/4 c. of cream.
Garnish with sour cream and green onion.
