2 T. butter
2 T. flour
1 tsp. salt ( I usually leave this out )
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. grated onion
1 c. sour cream
4 c. French (or regular) cut green beans
1 c. grated Swiss cheese (or other favorite white cheese)
2 c. cornflakes, crushed

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, sugar and onion. Add sour cream gradually, stirring constantly. Cook until thickened. Fold in well drained green beans and heat thoroughly. Turn into greased 1 1/2 qt. casserole.
Sprinkle grated cheese over beans. Mix corn flake crumbs with a little bit of melted butter and sprinkle over cheese.
Bake at 400º for 20 minutes.
