1 pound wieners
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 onion, chopped
½ green pepper, chopped (optional)
1 6-ounce cans tomato paste
2 or 3 cans water
Corn starch (for thickening)
½ teaspoon oregano
½ teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In heavy skillet heat oil, add onions and green pepper. Cook until tender, but not browned. Add tomato paste, water, seasonings and 1 tablespoon corn starch and 2 or 3 tablespoons cold water. Add slowly to tomato mixture, stirring constantly until clear and thickened, about 4 minutes. Cut wieners in ½ inch pieces. Add to gravy. Cook until wieners are through heated. Serve over rice, toast or biscuits.
