1/2 gal. molasses
2 tbsps. vinegar
1 tsp. soda
walnut kernels

Directions:
Directions:
Boil molasses until a ball hardens in cold water.
Add the vinegar and soda -STIR HARD TO KEEP FROM BOILING OVER. Add walnut kernels if desired and pour onto greased plates to let cool. Then take out and pull until hard. Make into a rope and break into pieces.
