1/2 cup water
1/4 cup butter
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 cup sifted flour
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Combine water, butter and salt and heat to boiling point. When boiling, briskly add flour all at once. Stir vigorously until mixture is smooth and forms a ball which leaves the side of the pan.

Remove from heat and cool 1 minutes. Add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.

Drop from a teaspoon onto an ungreased baking sheet, about 1 inch apart to allow for spreading.

Bake in a very hot oven (450º) 8 minutes. Reduce heat to a moderate over (350º) and bake puff shells 10 - 12 minutes longer.

Cool. Cut/split in side of each shell and fill with desired mixture
