CRUST: 2 ½ CUPS FLOUR
1 ½ CUPS QUICK (NOT INSTANT) OATMEAL
1 ½ CUPS BROWN SUGAR
2 TSP BAKING SODA
½ TSP SALT
½ CUP CHOPPED PECANS
MIX ABOVE INGREDIENTS TOGETHER AND THEN--
ADD: 1 ½ CUPS MELTED BUTTER
¼ TSP BUTTER FLAVORING
½ TSP VANILLA
MIX TOGETHER AND PAT INTO A 14 X 18 INCH JELLY ROLL PAN.
BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 15 MINUTES.

CARAMEL SAUCE: 1 14-OZ PKG CARAMELS , UNWRAPPED
1 CUP CREAM
¼ TSP BUTTER FLAVORING
1 TSP VANILLA
MELT THE ABOVE INGREDIENTS TOGETHER, STIRRING CONSTANTLY!
GENTLY POUR ONTO SLIGHTLY COOLED CRUST. (DON’T POUR DIRECTLY ONTO CRUST----OR IT WILL RUN UNDER THE CRUST---POUR ONTO A SPATULA, VERY SLOWLY POURING OVER THE CRUST. SPREAD GENTLY.
TOPPING: 1 CUP CHOPPED PECANS
2 MILK CHOCOLATE BARS, GRATED
BAKE AN ADDITIONAL 15 MINUTES.
