2 cups flour

2 cups sugar

1 stick butter

1 cup cold water

4 Tbsp. cocoa

1/2 cup Crisco oil

1/2 cup buttermilk

2 eggs, beaten

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp vanilla




Frosting:

1 stick butter

4 Tbsp. cocoa

6-7 Tbsp. milk

1 lb. powdered sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

1 cup pecans, chopped


Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, combine flour and sugar. In saucepan, combine butter, water, cocoa and Crisco oil. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and pour immediately over the flour/sugar mixture. Mix well. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla. mix well. Pour into a well-greased jelly roll pan (17x11x1) and bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees. While cake is in the oven, make the frosting. Combine butter, cocoa and milk in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. Mix well. Pour over hot cake when you take it out of the oven. Cool and serve.
