"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Purchase Frozen Puff Pastry from store

Custard:
1 1/2 C Milk
1/2 C Sugar
1/4 C Flour
3 Eggs, well beaten
1 tsp Vanilla
1/8 tsp Almond Extract

Directions:
Directions:
Pastry: Thaw frozen puff pastry. Roll and cut into shapes you desire and bake in preheated 500º oven 5 minutes, reduce heat to 375º and bake 25 to 30 minutes longer. Pastry is done if light when lifted.

Custard: Scald milk. In top of a double boiler over boiling water, mix sugar, flour and beaten eggs. Beat mixture until light. Gradually add scalded milk. Stir until well blended. Cook, stirring constantly, until it begins to thicken. Remove from heat, and continue to stir. Add vanilla and almond extract; cool.

Topping: Cut the tops off the berries and cut in half. Combine with brown sugar and set aside. Whip cream, sugar and vanilla in a mixer or with a whisk until it holds a stiff peak.

To assemble: Remove the top half of the baked individual puff pastry. Ladle on approximately 1/4 C of the custard, followed by the strawberries. Replace the top half of the puff pastry. Top with generous dollop of whipped cream and serve.
