Ingredients:  
1 can cling peaches (Del Monte), 1/4 cup sugar, 1 stick cinnamon, 1/4 c. cider vinegar, 6 cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Drain peaches and put liquid into pot. Add remaining ingredients and boil for 3 minutes. Place peaches in a glass container with cover. Pour hot liquid over peaches. Let stand at least overnight in refrigerator. To serve, drain well and serve peaches.

Pineapples and pears can be used instead of the peaches.
Mom would often serve this dish at Thanksgiving.
