3 cups cooked chicken
1 cup chopped cooked carrots
12 small whole white onions
1/2 cup chopped cooked celery
1/2 cooked peas
6 T butter
6 T flour
1 cup half-and-half or light cream
2 cups chicken broth
3/4 t salt
1/4 t freshly ground pepper

Preheat oven to 350º. In a deep dish pie plate, arrange chicken, carrots, celery and peas.

In a medium-size saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. stir in the 6 T four. Cook, stirring for 1 minute. Whisk in half-and-half and chicken broth slowly. Season with salt and pepper. Continue cooking and stirring until sauce boils and thickens. Pour sauce over chicken and vegetables.

Roll out 1/2 the pie crust, place crust over mixture. Bake for 35 min. until golden brown.
