Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
Cook one cup of pitted prunes (reserve 1/4 C. of prune juice)
1 C. crisco oil
2 C. sugar
3 eggs
1 C. buttermilk
1/4 C. prune juice
Mix together

sift together dry ingredients
2 C. all purpose flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cloves

Mix all together, add 1 cup of cool prunes
Pour into greased 9" tube pan. Bake @ 350º for 1 hour.

Buttermilk Glaze

1 C. sugar
1/2 C. buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon soda
1 stick of butter
1 T. corn syrup

Mix together in a sauce pan. boil for 3 minutes and let cook. 5 minutes glaze cake.
