Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pkg Nori dried seaweed
garlic to taste
hot water

Directions:
Directions:
1. Go to the Asian Food store. Purchase a package of NORI dried Seaweed for wrapping Sushi.
2. Purchase a small bottle of chopped Garlic IN OIL (you can cut fresh garlic, but it is messy and smelly, unless you bake it. Then you don't have to cut it iinto fine pieces. I don't use fresh garlid.
3. Crumble the sea weed. The number of sheets to crumble should not exceed 2 or three as it will make A LOT. Start with 2 sheets of Nori Dried seaweed, and add the gralic then some hot water, about a table spoon at a time.
If it gets too watery, then crush a bit of seaweed and add to the existing until the mixture is as thick as pudding.
Serve with pretty little bland crackers, You can set it out as a dip, but people will double dip, so it is better not to do that. Instead prepare the treats - about 15 or 20 for immediate serving.

Portions: Usually about 1/2 teaspoon/small cracker

The following recipe was sent in by Sandra Jones Ireland, an enterprising cook from Canada who sought an alternative to traditional laverbread seaweed.

" I call it Vegetarian Cavier - and first time eaters enjoy it. Plus my version has made it to the Vancouver Welsh Society Cook book for 2010."
