1 dozen ears fresh corn or 2 pkgs frozen kernels
Vidalia onion - sliced
3 cloves of garlic - chopped
6 strips of bacon - chopped
olive oil
salt
pepper
liquid smoke (if using bagged corn)
paprika (if using bagged corn)

Shuck corn, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Grill corn over medium to high heat. Allow to cool and cut corn from the cob. In a skillet large enough to hold the corn, cook bacon until crispy and remove with a slotted spoon. Saute onions in bacon grease until translucent. Add garlic and saute for one minute. Add corn and bacon to skillet and stir to mix. Salt and pepper to taste. If using bagged corn, add liquid smoke and paprika to taste.
